GARR
Hello, my name is Garr. I’ve driven the equivalent of over 30 times around the earth on everything from 2 wheels to 18 wheels! I couldn’t help but to see and learn a thing or two, and I enjoy utilizing my background in teaching to pass it on to you.
I always treat my students with dignity and respect, because they deserve it and it’s just who I am. I also pride myself on being able to adjust lessons and teaching style based on the students’ needs.
Beyond all that, I enjoy and cultivate a relaxed and fun atmosphere - it is possible to be professional and have fun at the same time. That’s how we do it in the Sane Lane!
Kari
Hi, My name is Kari, I’m excited to be a part of the team at The Sane Lane Driving School!
A little bit about me: I have over 20 years of experience as a class B licensed driver. I drove both school bus, and Metro Transit for 8 years.
When I first started driving I was terrified to be on the road, but with lots of time and patience, I became a very capable and confident driver.
My passion in life has always been helping people, whether that be in getting them from point A to point B, or being an an ear for someone in need of conversation. I enjoy teaching others how to be confident in their driving and feel safe out on the road.

Here is the playlist of calm piano music we often use during lessons. I believe if you share it to yourself, you can make it your own. Or just play it here. It makes a cool soundtrack type vibe for driving. (Yes, the first piece is called LA Crash. O well.)
Often during a driving lesson we get to talking cars, and I always seem to work my daily driver and my motorcycle into the conversation, ha ha! I put pictures of them here to have a place to send students who “ask” about my Challenger and my Triumph:
